Headshot Day
$99 per person
When and what time?
Sunday, March 10
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
(*please note- We have the room until 4 p.m. Please do not show up at 4 p.m. or we cannot accommodate you)
Models can drop in from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is first come, first serve. We will not rush anyone and we don’t want anyone to feel rushed. If you have a tight schedule that day - you may want to wait for another headshot day that we will plan for the future.
Location?
It will be held at a hotel conference room in Fayetteville. We will email the address once the retainer is paid.
Who is the photographer?
Photos will be taken by Amelia Jane Photos. You can visit her website to see her work by clicking the black box above.
How much?
The shoot is $99
Retainer:
$49 is required to hold your spot.
Balance:
$50 will be due the day of the shoot. Cash or electronic payments accepted on the day of the shoot. Retainer: please remit the payment electronically. Options are below.
If you want to book a shoot, please click on the black button below. The form will serve as a sign up and model release. Please make sure to send the $49 NON-REFUNDABLE retainer! All retainers must be paid by March 5th. If you paid your retainer and you are unable to make it, you can transfer it to another model. You can work out your own details on the transfer but please e-mail Lena to let her know of the transfer.
Have more than 2 people in your family needing headshots or do you need a family photo for the lifestyle section of our website? Please send an e-mail to Lena for special pricing.
Can you pay at the door without a reservation? This depends on how many talent reserve a shoot. You can definitely call Lena the morning of the shoot and ask if there is space.
Make-up:
We are working on getting a make-up artist to attend. Information coming soon.
Please arrive make-up and hair ready if not using a make-up artist! We don’t want to clog up the room with people doing their hair and make-up while others are trying to walk in for their shoot.
Other Information:
All minors MUST have a guardian present. We will NOT photograph anyone under the age of 18 without a guardian there. No exceptions.
We cannot babysit if you bring multiple children, please plan accordingly. If your children knock equipment down due to being unruly and break equipment, it will be your responsibility to replace or pay for damaged items.
We must have a minimum of 8 models booked or we will cancel and refund all retainers.
There will be no scheduling/time slots for this event. There could be a wait or there could be no wait. Feel free to show up early and do one look and then take time to create a 2nd look in your car, restroom (if it’s multiple stall) or in a corner of the room where you will be out of the way. We want all of our talent to get the most out of their shoot!
Models may bring 2 outfit changes. Want more outfit changes? Email Lena!
All high-resolution photos taken by Amelia Jane will be available to the talent. Expect 10 to 15 high resolution photos to download for your portfolio, personal use, personal printing and for your social media platforms.
Basic headshots, full lengths and 3/4 length photos will be taken with some fun ones in between. There will be a selfie station set up for those that want to take their own selfies with a fun background and ring light. We want to make sure you take advantage of all the photo opportunities, especially since you’ll have your makeup, hair and best clothes on! Lena loves a good shenanigan so if you see a silly prop, please take a photo with it for our social media channels! We’d love to post photos of our talent having fun!
Lena & Amelia can help you with poses. Both have years of experience in front of and behind the camera.
Lena will be in attendance at this event to assist Amelia, take payments, help talent, answer questions, etc.
Please be respectful of talent that are having their photo taken.
Some etiquette when in a big shoot setting:
Avoid stares.
Avoid speaking loudly as it’s distracting.
Avoid interrupting the photographer or talent.
Don’t stand over the photographer’s shoulder.
Sometimes kids do better when parents are in the room but not watching them. Sometimes it’s best if the parents go sit down and play on their phones, as long as the child is calm and comfortable.
Do be positive.
Be Kind.
Compliment others, it’s a confidence builder for yourself and others.
Want to give advice to a model about the shoot? Don’t, unless asked. That can be very intimidating for someone who is new to modeling.
We will have bottled water. You are welcome to bring in your own food/snacks if you need them.
Do I have to be talent with Stage 28?
No. If you need a headshot and some new photos of yourself and you don’t model for Stage 28, that is fine. You’ll still need to fill out the form and send a retainer. We will e-mail the location.
